June 16: Destinee Rae Monroe of Destinee & Paris and the Clique Girlz is 17 years-old today.

Destinee is from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. She was described as the "rock girl" of the group. Her symbol is a star because when she was little she had something in her eye and her mom said it was a star. Her favorite color is blue and she enjoys singing, playing guitar and piano.

In 2004 when Destinee was around ten, she and her younger sister Paris, met Ariel Moore at school. They quickly became friends and started to perform together as a group, named Clique. The girls developed a 10 song demo CD, with the songs, "Worth The Wait," "Parents Don't Understand," "What Happened To You," and "Girl Who Rules The World" posted online. Afterwards, they recorded the song "Lemonade" for Alex's Lemonade with Rhino, a division of Warner Bros. Records.
