When she was 25 she decided to leave Ireland, and the first audition she went for was for the all-female group, The Saturdays. Since 2007, Healy has been a member of the group; it's only non-British member.
Their first four singles have all reached the Top 10 in the UK charts ("If This Is Love," "Up," "Issues" and "Just Can't Get Enough.") Their debut album Chasing Lights also peaked at number nine.
Despite being relatively unknown at the time, Healy won hottest female 2009 in the Virgin Media Music Awards.
